Brothers

Brothers. Beyond family. Defined by a rooted desire to serve and honor the other before himself, their friendship stands alone as inspiring.
Ron and Grant care deeply about what makes you.. well, YOU. The very heart of Kelbrook has always been "custom" - creating something that is specifically tailored to your need and vision. And so it's your unique story that begins the process of great design, and thoughtful creative process.
Ron, in simple terms, has a brilliant mind for process, efficiencies, and the smallest details that go into the make-up of a project. Formally trained in construction estimating and management, Ron's experiences range from highrise residences in Vancouver's Yaletown, to design and cost reviews for BC Housing, to chairing and guiding the team of architects, consultants and health authority staff through the complete retrofit of the diagnostics department of Surrey Memorial Hospital. Ron is a coach at heart - desiring the best possible outcome for the team.
Grant senses and sculpts as an artist would with your project as his medium. Rooted in a vast understanding of structure and function, Grant's constant pursuit is towards smart design which balances structure, function and the subtle nuances in architectural beauty. Formally achieving his red seal in carpentry in 1998, Grant has since continually broadened his skill-set so as to be able to create what his mind sees. Grant's strength in management of detail is not only knowing how something should look when it's finished, it is also in intimately knowing the correct process that it takes to achieve perfection in that detail.
".....Ron and I are different in many ways - complementing ways - and our similarities are equally notable and beneficial.. Our dad taught us both how to learn - by listening, watching, and doing.... to pay attention to details, because they are what makes design come alive. Both of us are highly creative.. both of us recognize the importance of flow.... both of us are always looking to improve on what we do.. and both of us have a passion for connecting with people. Honestly and truly we feel privileged that we have been afforded the experiences that have shaped us, and it is the greatest privilege of all to be able to share in the lives of the people we are serving. Our family just gets larger with each project that we take on." -G
